conclusions: The sensitivity of the framing device in the composition was called into question. General consensus was that the stroke was too prominent and too evidently digital. Including the diagonal frame in the numerals poster seemed arbitrary- it was suggested that i make some contrast between frames to make them appear discreet and purposefully separated. The composition in which a zooming mechanism was employed proved more dynamic and produced a favorable reaction. It was agreed that the content and rendering style were appropriate to my demographic. Too many superfluous background elements were included in the "grow our roots" poster and proved distracting.
